Your school and class: We only collect this information if you choose to participate in our school competition. We store your class details (grade level, letter, and school) to group your high score with other users in the same class on the leaderboard.
Subscription details: If you choose to subscribe to our paid features, we collect information about your purchase, including the transaction ID and subscription type, but we do not store your payment details. All payments are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play Store. You must create an account to purchase a subscription.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
To display your username and high score on the leaderboard.
To optimize learning content based on your answered questions.
To group your results with others in your class if you participate in the school competition.
To manage your subscription, including payment verification and access to premium content.
To provide access to your account across multiple devices.

Third-Party Services
We use the following external services to manage and store data:
MongoDB Atlas: We store your high score and class information using MongoDB as an external database. Their servers are located in the Netherlands, and their privacy policy can be found here: https://www.mongodb.com/legal/privacy/privacy-policy
Supabase: We store your email address with Supabase to manage account creation and login. Their servers are located in the EU. You can find Supabase’s privacy policy here: https://supabase.com/privacy
Apple and Google: Payments are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We do not have access to your payment information. You can find their privacy policies here:
Data Retention and Security
We will generally retain your data until your account is deleted. However, we may retain certain information longer if necessary to provide our services, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, investigate misuse, or enforce agreements. We may also retain anonymized data indefinitely.
