We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and share your information when you use our app.
We collect the following information when you use our app:
Your username: We collect and store your username to display it on the leaderboard in the app.
Your highscore: We collect and store your highscore to display it on the leaderboard in the app.
Your answered questions: We collect and store the number of questions you answered, the time it took to answer each question, what topic the question was in and whether you played live or not. We do this to improve the learning content.
Your school and class: We only collect if you choose to participate in our school competition. We collect and store your class information (grade, letter and school) to group your highscore with other users in the same class on the leaderboard.
How we use your information
We use your highscore and class information to display it on the in-app leaderboard. And your answered questions to optimize the learning content. We do not share your personal information with any third party.
Data storage and security
We will generally retain your data until your account is deleted. However, we may retain certain information longer if necessary to provide our service, comply with legal requirements, resolve or defend ourselves in disputes, investigate misuse or disruption of the service, or perform agreements. We may also retain anonymous data indefinitely.
We store your highscore and class information with our partner MongoDB as an external database.

Your choices
You can choose not to provide us with your class details, but this will prevent you from participating in our school competitions and appearing on the in-app leaderboards.
